Application Information
  • ISOSWEET 5500 replaces invert sugar and sucrose in many food applications. Developed to fill the need for a syrup having greater sweetness and higher solids than the 42% fructose corn syrup, ISOSWEET 5500 may be used as the sole sweetener in many foods, often eliminating the need for blends.
  • The characteristics of high sweetness, high solids, and high purity make ISOSWEET 5500 an ideal sweetener for still and carbonated beverages, dairy products, jams, jellies, and preserves. High initial solids increase the efficiency of the evaporation process in producing sweet spreads that tend to make the products more resistant to microbial growth.
